Why I hate cell phones
It used to be that a man (or a woman) could escape the world by finding a spot where the phone didn't ring and hunkering down for awhile (preferably with a Makers and Coke and a few hands of Hold'Em.) But now thanks to the cell phone we're all prisoners in our own pants. Now there is no escape from home, business or the intrusion of anyone anytime in any of the previously sacred locations including the supermarket, anywhere outside and in the toilet. No respect for privacy. Although there are a few saving graces - dying batteries, poor service and caller ID -the most heinous aspect of cell phones is the implied responsibility to answer at any given moment of the day or night. Put the phone down and email us with your questions or comments. And remember, just cause we hear it ringing don't mean we're gonna answer it. (Unless you're an important client with a real need - then I'm on it!)
